U9 General information
Lethbridge Minor Hockey has moved to the next stage of the U9 Transition for the 2024-25 season.
All players (U8 and U9) will be in the same division.
There will be grouping program implemented to create a competitive environment though a mass practice in September.
Depending on registration numbers there will be 4-U9A, and 6-U9B teams created.
U9 will continue the transition of a larger ice surface as we did last season for both of the 4-U9A, and 6-U9B teams created.
The U9 division teams have shared ice practices on weeknights and have games on the weekend.
Weeknight practices are spread across Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays, depending on the team you may be on and will start the first week of October.
For the month of October all teams will practice on the weekend as well as the weeknights. No games will be played.
Weekend ice times are all at Nicholas Sheran or Logan Boulet Arena
